Summary
Nicole Byer (born August 29, 1986) is an American comedian, actress, and television host. She is known as the host of the Netflix comedic reality bake-off series Nailed It! (2018–present), for which she has received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Byer gained recognition for her work in the commentary series Girl Code (2013). Byer later starred in the MTV/Facebook Watch comedy series Loosely Exactly Nicole (2016–2018), which was based on her real life experiences.

by Brian K. Vaughan and John Romita Jr. will be on display from Wednesday, Sept. 3 to Friday, Sept. 4 during the Festival's first show of the year, the premiere of the film. A new director, Jonathan M. Wilson, has been tapped to direct, along with Greg Capullo and Daniella Piazza, along with director Mark E. Duchovny. The film follows a group of young women as they navigate a life-changing event involving the loss of their father and family to cancer. The film will also feature music from The Beatles and The Who, with an added bonus from The Temptations. "We're thrilled to have Brian and John Romita back together," said Vaughan, who also co-wrote and directed The Temptations, which also stars Paul McCartney. "This film is the perfect catalyst for a fresh, fresh, new direction for the festival, and it's a testament to the commitment of our talented writers to bring our vision to life.
